That Prayer

Oh God of gracious delight.
God who sees and knows all before I say a word.
Heavenly Father I beseech you, I beg you - I solemnly lay myself before you seeking a blessing
Lord, I have known of money and how to save since childbirth.  I have no outlandish habits and I am not flashy, brazen or in any way an excessive spender.

You have tempered my emotions and have brought me to a world of moderation.
Heavenly Father, please bless me with increase.
Please help me get out of debt and walk towards savings.

Heavenly Father, please lighten this load, that I may appropriately tithe and find ways to give to the myriad array of ministry that is in the world as well as my city.

Oh, Father forgive me for the days of squandering money and the days that I resented the blessing
Show me how to forgive myself for those missed opportunities that may have lead to financial affluence.  Holy Father, please break any chains, strongholds and misconceived ideas with my relationship with money.

God, please bless my household -- we all work to serve you in one way or another. Help us hear your voice.
And not the least in my prayers, Heavenly Father who delights in us your children, please look over the young, bless them as they learn new topics and insights, and as they learn to arrange their own time in a way that can best assist them to be the leaders of tomorrow.  Help Maria & Gabriel as they continue their college career. Seigi as he begins a new chapter on the way to a Master's, Asha as she completes her Bachelor's and tries to steer and engage her son in positive ways; Drew as he works in the profession that is being offered.  And the remainder of my cousins, aunts and uncles and all my friends and extended family as they seek a way, the way, to strike a path through the struggle never forgetting your ever-present love.

Alleluya Amen.
